We're Kind of a Big Deal

If we really want to hate someone, we will.

If we really want to love someone, we can do that, too.

Nothing really holds us back from being what we want to be, except for ourselves. We let ourselves find reasons to do or not do something. 

I know this because I see myself doing this all the time. I can justify things really well (which is one of the reasons I can procrastinate like nobody's business! Alas.)

But I don't think we should let ourselves have doubt when it comes to our dreams or aspirations...or especially our self worth. That's not cool. Not cool at all.

Recently, I rediscovered a quote that I really like, and it happens to be on this topic:

  One of my favorite parts of the video is this: "Be patient with yourself; perfection comes not in this life, but in the next life. Don't demand things that are unreasonable, but demand of yourself improvement. As you let the Lord help you through that, He will make the difference." :)
Yes. He definitely will. I'm so glad.
